Story at the Heart of It All
Artist and writer exploring story across page and print.
About
Stacia Campbell is equal parts writer, printmaker, and book artist. She collages prose, line drawings, and personal photos to tell stories in screen prints and artist’s books. When not in the studio, she can be found on her big blue couch working on Something Oceanic, a memoir told in flash. Pieces from that work often drift into her printmaking. She is currently seeking representation for Staying Found, a crossover literary novel about an eleven-year-old neurodivergent girl’s unusual bond with a cormorant in their journey to build a new life and meaning after flash floods sweep them away from “the Old World.” A teaching-artist at Evanston Art Center and Hive Center for the Book Arts, Stacia’s prints and books can also be found at Secret World Books.
